Suspect sought after woman dragged by hair during sexual assault near Yorkdale Mall

A suspect is at large after a woman was sexually assaulted near Yorkdale Mall Sunday night, Toronto police say.
Police said that at approximately 10:35 p.m. on Sunday the victim was walking on Ranee Avenue near Allen Road when the suspect approached the victim asking for directions.
According to police, the victim crossed the street to avoid contact with the suspect, but the suspect followed her.
When the victim attempted to run away, the suspect allegedly grabbed her by her hair and arms and dragged her between two houses.
When a witness intervened, the suspect reportedly fled the area.
The suspect is described as male, 5’9” to 5’10”, mid-30s, thin to average build, with short hair almost shaved and a dark, medium-length full beard.
Police said that at the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black sweater with the hood up, dark blue jeans and black, red and white running shoes.
