The popularity of mermaids over time in American Girl clothing is a legend.
It would be fun to collect all of them over time.
This costume  has a vinyl tiara of seaweed, yellow/blue fish, and orange starfish that stays on securely.
The mermaid bodice is a nude knit at the neck and long sleeves; then, green knit fabric with embedded green sparkles cover the lower portion and and the tail. Two tail pieces slip on the feet with an elastic band at the back of the heel.
A long vinyl mesh “ seaweed” scarf is covered with orange, blue, red, green, and yellow vinyl sea creatures
(seahorses, starfish, shells, fish, and crabs).
The trick-or-treat bag is paper with back string handles.
The bag offered here has a wrinkle from being inthe box but sands up without any problem.
There is no mask included but one could be replicated with holographic green scrapbooking paper and black beading elastic.
