    Description

    This is clearly a reprint of an even earlier photo.  On the back it says "Officers of Str. Portland sunk Nov. 1898.  Capt Blanchard (black derby)."  I don't know if all of these men died when the ship sank but it appears that may be so.   This reprint is old with some age darkening on the back and slight wear along the right side.  It is 10" by 8" and the image is great.
